AI driven Sea Navigation
Our Idea
We developed a digital twin for logistics companies to calculate the most efficient and eco-friendly routes for container ships and compare them to the current ones. Our innovative approach includes utilizing kites to harness wind energy and strategically navigating waves for optimal performance. This technology significantly reduces fuel consumption and enhances sustainability in maritime transport.

Our Prototype
In this recording you can see our prototype in action. The video showcases the calculation and visualization of a route from Gdansk, Poland to New York, USA. Please note that for demonstration purposes, we've cut some frames out of the video, to minimize waiting times.
The Challenge
The Moonshot Pirates '24 Challenge focused on the critical issue of climate change. Participants were tasked with not only developing innovative solutions but also implementing them if feasible. We received invaluable support from mentors worldwide and had access to informative videos covering a wide range of topics, problems, and potential solutions.
